    DARREN LOUGEE

Darren has been acting, singing, writing and conducting in New York City since 1997.

In addition to being a founding member of InViolet Theatre Repertory Company he is also the creator and artistic director of ActorCor, New York's only choir made up entirely of actors.

On stage Darren recently portrayed the title character in Uncle with Blue Heron Theatre Company and originated the role of Len Booker in the off-Broadway production of Secrets.

Additional projects include Lost Objects (dir. Francois Girard) and The Death of Klinghoffer at BAM, NBC's Conviction, Court TV's Parco P.I. and the award-winning film, Lucia (dir. Rodrigo Lopresti.)

Watch for Darren in the newly released independent film Sad Sack Sally (Half Moon Productions).

He has sung principle roles with Opernhaus Zürich, Philadelphia Opera Company and National Opera Company.

Darren has written several short plays. Both Bosler Cut-Off and Hill Town had public readings in 2008.

He is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio, Actors Movement Studio, and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
